Detailed Session Breakdown
Session 1: The Foundation (Duration: 1 Session)
Led by your Educator at Cove Beauty
This is your intensive learning session. We will cover everything you need to know before touching a client's head.
· Theory: Consultation forms, hair types, color matching, and ordering the right supplies.
· Preparation: How to section hair perfectly for tape-in applications.
· The Application: Step-by-step demonstration and technique on how to apply the tapes for a secure, flat, and comfortable fit.
· The Finish: Cutting and blending techniques for a seamless look.
· Practice: You will spend the majority of this session practicing on your mannequin head under my direct supervision.
Session 2: Live Model Application #1 (Duration: 1 Hour)
One-on-One Coaching with Trainer
Now it’s time for the real thing. You will bring in a live model to perform a full application.
· You will be responsible for: Conducting the consultation, preparing the hair, and performing the full tape-in application.
· My role: I will be right there with you, guiding you step-by-step, offering tips, and ensuring the application is perfect. This session is about building your confidence with a real client in the chair.
Session 3: Live Model Application #2 (Duration: 1 Hour)
One-on-One Coaching with Trainer
Practice makes perfect. You will bring in a second model for another full application.
· Focus: Speed, efficiency, and problem-solving.
· The Goal: By the end of this session, you will feel like a pro. I will observe, provide advanced tips, and troubleshoot any unique hair challenges your model presents.
